Apple Wheat Pancakes

1 1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup applesauce
1 T. lemon juice
2 eggs
1 apple, cored and grated
4 T. oil
2 T. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup white flour
1 cup wheat flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. soda

Mix wet ingredients. Sift dry ingredients, then add to wet. Beat until smooth. If batter is too thick, add a little more milk. If batter is too thin, add a little more flour. Pour and wait for bubbles to pop, then turn.
